CRN Names DataGravity to 2014 Emerging Vendor, Coolest Big Data Startup Lists

Nurturing the channel is in the DNA of DataGravity. Our co-founders Paula Long and John Joseph had a long history of channel successes at storage provider EqualLogic, where Paula was a co-founder and John led global enterprise marketing. In fact, our entire leadership team brings solid channel relationships to DataGravity. We know the value that comes with a strong channel program, which is why DataGravity brought partners into the fold early and is building a go-to-market strategy that is 100-percent channel driven.

In recognition of our dedication to creating opportunities for our partners, CRN recently named DataGravity to two influential lists: the 10 Coolest Big Data Startups of 2014 and the 2014 Emerging Vendors. In highlighting the hottest startups impacting the IT channel and the technology industry, CRN is also indicating where the market opportunities are for resellers to create high-margin, cutting-edge solutions for their customers. Intelligent data storage is at the top of many IT wish lists, as organizations search for ways to get better insights from the unstructured data they’re generating.

CRN’s annual Emerging Vendors overview will be in the publication’s August issue, but its publisher has already noted why these lists are critical to the channel. In announcing the news, Channel Company CEO Robert Faletra said, “Solution providers are always on the hunt for the next big technology trend so that they can bring new solutions to their customers before they even know they need them. These vendors are on the forefront of IT innovation and are offering products and services that channel partners can use to stay ahead of the competition.”

The select group of resellers in the DataGravity early-access channel program confirm this idea. Experts in storage, server and virtualization technology, our partners tell us that their customers want more from their unstructured data, and they’re eager to hear about a solution that will give them deeper, data-driven insights at the point of storage. If you are, too, follow DataGravity on LinkedIn for updates about the product we’re building with feedback from our partners.
