The Key to Creating Valuable Channel Partnerships in Storage
Relationships are important; we wouldn’t celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, or Mother’s Day if they weren’t. Having the ability to communicate effectively and listen well ultimately creates a solid bedrock for functional and rewarding relationships. These basic facts about creating human connections extend to the creation of meaningful business relationships, as well, particularly between channel partners and the customers they serve together.
Since the release of the DataGravity Discovery Series, we have worked closely with our channel partners to help them bring the benefits of data-aware storage solutions to customers struggling to keep track of their data, learn how to use it for business advantage, and determine what security risks lurk within it. With the support of our partner program, resellers can expand their relationships with customers by delivering technology that addresses the challenges and opportunities of growing stores of humanly generated data.
The importance of those relationships – with the channel and with our customers – is paramount to DataGravity. That’s why the recent recognition of our work in the 2015 CRN Channel Chiefs listing is so important. My career has been deeply rooted in the channel and in fostering technology adoption. As I transition into my new role as CTO here at DataGravity, it’s immensely satisfying to see the inclusion of DataGravity on this list as yet another benchmark of success in our mission to build a base of happy partners and customers.
